Is Urban Veda 100% natural?

Our ranges of skin & body care contain between 97% to 100% natural and organic ingredients. Our range of facial oils and body oils are 100% natural. Our formulations are free from toxins, parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate and GM ingredients. All our products are third party tested for safety so rest assured all our products are safe to use.

Is Urban Veda suitable for my skin type?

Our products are mindfully formulated to treat all skin types and we have four ranges catering to four different skin types (oily, sensitive, dry, mature); however, if you require deeper assistance do not hesitate to email hello@urbanveda.com

How do I know which Range is best suited to me?

We have an online ‘dosha test‘ which is a short questionnaire to determine which skincare range is best for you! If you’re still a little lost, you can follow this general formula: For oily and congested skin, our Purifying Range may suit you best. For sensitive and irritable skin, our Soothing Range may suit you best. For dry and dull skin, our Radiance Range may suit you best. For mature or combination skin, our Reviving Range may suit you best.

Can I mix between product ranges?

Of course! We actively encourage using products from each skincare range and this is because our skin is constantly changing and will have different needs. Using the different ranges to cater to your skins specific needs will give you the best results.

How should I patch test an Urban Veda product?

To reduce the risk of irritation or a reaction, please patch test your product first using the following guidelines: Apply a pea sized amount of product to a clean area of skin. Keep the area dry and assess after 24 hours. If any irritation, burning, itching or redness occurs during the test, do not continue to use the product.

Why should I patch test an Urban Veda product?

When it comes to skincare, everybody reacts in their own unique way to formulations. Although we practice extensive (cruelty free) testing on all of our products, we advise you to patch test before using in excess.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

It is only medicines that are specifically tested for safety in pregnancy, not body care products. However, any legal European body care product will not contain ingredients regarded as unsafe during pregnancy.

Are your products safe for children to use?

Yes, our products are safe for children to use although, as with any customer, we do suggest you patch test first.

Do your products contain SPF?

Our products do not contain SPF. As a natural brand, we want to create products that have a high percentage of natural ingredients. At the moment, natural SPF is difficult to formulate effectively. Whilst we work hard on trying to develop a natural SPF, we recommend you add your SPF into our day cream for sun protection.

I have a nut allergy. Are your products safe for me to use?

Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) is utilised within the following products: Purifying Day Cream, Purifying Night Cream, Radiance Day Cream, Radiance Night Cream, Soothing Day Cream, Soothing Night Cream, Reviving Day Cream and Reviving Night Cream.

If you have any concerns regarding allergies, we recommend contacting your GP.

Are your products made in the UK?

Our products are lovingly formulated and manufactured in the UK according to the British health and safety regulations.

How long will my products last?

Once opened, Urban Veda products should be used within 12 months.

How do I find out about offers and promotions?

Current offers and promotions are listed on our website banner and also advertised in our social media platforms. We also run regular promotions via our newsletter so make sure to sign up!

Will you notify me when a product is back in stock?

Please email at hello@urbanveda.com and we shall happily inform you when your chosen product will be back in stock. We also announce products back in stock via our newsletter so make sure to sign up!

Do you have a policy on sustainability?

All our packaging is 100% recyclable, and our bottles are made out of 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. Recycling is like Karma, what goes around comes around. We’re proud of our sourcing provenance and all of our cartons are Forest Sustainability Certified.

Can I recycle my empties?

All of our products are 100% recyclable and we offer a recycling initiative so you can send in your skincare empties, from any skincare brand, and we will ensure they are successfully recycled through our collaborating with Wastecare, the waste management and service company. Customers can receive 10% off their next order for doing so. Shipping costs to return empties are not covered.

Do you support a charity?

We support our charity partner Ocean Generation and donate 10% of our online sales to their cause, raising awareness around plastic pollution.

Do you test on animals?

As a holistic brand we don’t, and will never, test on animals. We do not sell to countries where testing is obligatory and we avoid using ingredients that are tested on animals. We are a certified cruelty free brand by the Leaping Bunny.

Are your products Vegan?

We are proud to say that all of our products are vegan friendly. We are certified by PETA and the Vegetarian society as Vegan.

How do I find out what my dosha is?

Our Urban Veda ranges use a bespoke selection of natural ingredients designed to suit different skin types which in the principles of Ayurveda are associated with ‘doshas’. This is the Ayurvedic term to describe the physical and emotional tendencies in our mind and body. We match plants to each dosha based on their properties and benefits to that specific skin type. Do you ship to my country?

Yes! We deliver throughout the UK, European Union and internationally. For all delivery options and prices, please refer to shipping & returns.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a tracking code within your order confirmation email.

I have received my package but it’s not what I ordered…?

We’re sorry to hear about the mix up! Please email hello@urbanveda.com with your full name, address, order number & products delivered.

I need to change the delivery address on a product that has already been ordered – what can I do?

Please email hello@urbanveda.com as soon as possible and we will endeavour to change the address if your order has not left our warehouse; however, if order has been dispatched, we are unable to change the delivery address.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! for orders over £50 in the UK.

I’ve just received an order confirmation but I’d like to cancel – what can I do?
